The Budget Buddys offer assists existing Budget Insurance personal lines policyholders and noted household members by giving them unlimited access to assistance with the following services and products through its approved panel of service providers at preferential rates:
Car Value Add
· Buying a new car.
· 62-point check before needing to service car.
· Needing to have your car serviced.
· Needing to put tyres on your car.
· 10-point safety check on your car before you travel.
· Need to rent a car.
· Windscreen repairs and replacements.
· Sourcing car body and mechanical parts.
House Holders (Contents)
· Kitchen appliances (for example, fridge, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher etc.)
· Needing electronic equipment for your home (TV, sound bar, Hi Fi System, Inverter etc.)
Homeowners (Buildings)
· Need an alarm system.
· Need to do home renovations.
· Need to do home maintenance.
Connectivity (Cell Phone)
· Need to buy a new cell phone.
· Need to have a cell phone repaired.
How to qualify to use the Budget Buddys services?
To qualify to use the services, you need to:
· Be a Budget Insurance policyholder or be noted by a policyholder under their policy as a household member i.e spouse/child;
· The policy must be active, with premiums up to date;
· All active policyholders or noted household members of policyholders qualify regardless of the cover type or policy tenure.
How to use the Budget Buddys services?
To use the Budget Buddys services, the policyholder or noted household member would need to send an email to [email protected] with the service they require.
The Budget Buddys service fees/costs
As this is not a claim under a policy, the costs of the services or products will be paid for by the policyholder in line with the service provider terms and payment methods.
The preferential rates that are offered through Budget Buddys are the supplier’s rates and are not their discounted rates.
Any correspondence the policyholder may have with the supplier must be directed to the supplier indicated.
Budget Insurance offers unlimited access to its preferential rates only.
Budget Insurance cannot be held liable for any contractual arrangement made between policyholders and the third-party suppliers introduced through Budget Buddys.
Exclusions
The Budget Buddys offering excludes any instore specials and /or special deals.
As a customer, you will not qualify for the Budget Buddys offer if:
· You do not have an active personal lines policy with Budget Insurance;
· This offering is not available on Business Insurance and Value Added policies;
· You have an active personal lines policy with Budget Insurance, but your premiums are not up to date.
Budget Insurance reserves the right to amend, extend or cancel the Budget Buddys offer at any time without prior notice.
